FootPadel Rules Overview - Cyprus

1. Court and Equipment:

FootPadel is played on a court enclosed by walls, similar to padel but smaller in scale. The game uses a size 4 football, suited for both indoor and outdoor play.

2. Players:

FootPadel matches can be played as doubles. The game promotes teamwork and strategy among the pairs.

3. Serving:

The serve must be executed underhand and below the waist level. The ball must bounce in the opponent’s service box and can be played off the walls.

4. Scoring:

Scoring in FootPadel follows the traditional tennis format with games and sets. The first pair to reach 6 games by a margin of two wins the set.

5. Gameplay:

Players can use their feet, head, and chest to hit the ball. The ball can bounce once on the ground and can be played off the walls, adding a unique dimension to the strategy.

6. No Volley Zone:

FootPadel includes a no volley zone, where players are not allowed to return the ball before it bounces.

7. Point Loss:

A point is lost if the ball bounces twice before being returned, if it hits the ceiling, or if improper serving occurs.

FootPadel combines the excitement of football with the tactical depth of padel, making it a challenging and enjoyable sport for participants of all skill levels.
